by todddeanmark Coleman:Part of the potential confusion might be in the definition of the word "stop".i have always assumed that spaces/cities etc. used in all COIN games are fairly big plots of land. Meaning that troops can be moving WITHIN the same space it started and then they "stopped" somewhere else in the same space.This is, I assume how factions can do a 'Sweep in place' move. We would have to assume that those troops went on the hunt ofr the insurgents and found some elsewhere in the same space (given that the space might represent 100 square miles for example). Since the troops gained a beninfit from their action they have to pay for that SWEEP ACTION. So, why can't we assume the same is true for the "SECURE IN PLACE" where we then get to activate hidden enemies? This would tell me that we would then need to pay for that benifit.TODD
