by RichieJ While I really like this expansion, I disagree that it is essential for solo or any other player count. Yes the star powers, rivals and difficulty decks gives you more options of how to customise your game. And yes it’s true the legends have more abilities and can muck up your plans a bit more.However, the actual play experience for me (my decision space and tactics) has not been impacted at all by the new stuff in this expansion. I find it still plays out in largely the same way as when going against the base game legends module; play well around corners to mitigate the legend pull back on the straights, one/two drivers will give you a hard time, one will lag at the back. The game state feels virtually the same to play in my opinion, you just have new rules and complexity to manage which sometimes slightly shakes things up. I don’t say this to try and put people off this exp
