by Anarchosyn Pre purchase inquiry:Wondrous Creatures was almost an impulse purchase yesterday based almost entirely on the big picture appeal—my partner would love the theme, the animal depictions, and we’re both big into tableau builders like Everdell, Earth (ish), Terraforming Mars, even Race (or Roll) for the galaxy. What gave me pause were the cards — upon poking things a bit closer, most example I could find weren’t active use abilities, the kind I enjoy the most, but scoring modifiers, scoring goals or single use instant effects. To frame this better, Terraforming Mars has a decent ratio of active (i.e. player activatable) to non-active cards acquirable in a two player session for my tastes. I like building into variable player powers on a per game basis, essentially. How does this compare?For what it’s worth we’ve never tried Ark Nova.

by CaptainFrenchie Hello,Yes, this is an error. The Gunboat attacks and stops there. It does not continue on its way to the outpost. Here is a link to the FAQ forum. This is corrected in the very first post:https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/3354968/official-faq-and-er...Rulebook pg 15, at the end of Gunboat Example 1 "and then continues to the Outpost sector and removes the Outpost." should be removed.

by dparch7 Thanks Paul.Without additional counters, I won't be using the extension: weakens both sides too much and I assume that there were historically several divisions present that are not represented in the original game.
