What catches my interest is when a game 1) has interesting political dynamics in addition to (or instead of) the military aspect of the conflict and/or 2) covers a conflict that I don't already know much about. It's a great opportunity to learn while I'm playing.

Just played DR3 at a board game convention with a full 6 players, everyone had a blast and it got me sticking my nose into the DRX rules ahead of its (hopeful) release sometime this year. Going through the basic rules I think the Storming section has me a bit confused - it might be obvious and I'm just not understanding but my confusion is this:In section 4.6.4.3.2 it is stated that To inflict any damage, the attacker must win a modified combat roll by more than the value of the intrinsic garrison.
