Tips for running virtual, in-person, and hybrid events rpaik Wed, 05/03/2023 - 03:00 Over the past few years, virtual events have thrived. In-person events are back now, but it's important to keep in mind that virtual events didn't just come out of nowhere. Many of us were actually doing a lot of different online events even before they became popular. Many communities held hackathons, bug and issue triaging, webinars, and so on, as virtual events. They brought community members together for collabor

3 reasons to host a docathon for your open source project lmalivert Fri, 04/28/2023 - 03:00 Your open source project's documentation is essential to your customers. Your target audience must understand the purpose of your project and how to use it, and documentation is what bridges that gap. A project is rarely ever truly done, so it's equally important for resources to be maintained and updated with your project's continuous improvement. But what happens when you have lots of documentatio

How I used guilt as a motivator for good its-surya Fri, 04/28/2023 - 03:00 Recently, I was asked by a friend and colleague if I were interested in speaking together at a conference. I was pleasantly surprised because I hadn't contributed much to the project they were presenting, but I expressed interest. Too high a bar for drug safety calls

2 May 2024 @ 3:46 pm

Drug safety regulation appears to be a lone wolf in the world of safety regulation. The aviation sector doesn’t ignore safety incidents “because they are outweighed by the benefits” and nor should the drug regulators. The aviation baseline is "less than 1 fatal accident per 1 million flying hours". The alarm bells ring as soon as there is 1 fatal accident. Actually, even a near-miss gets them excited. Gender ideology: What’s happening in the rest of the UK?

2 May 2024 @ 3:44 pm

Gender ideology has been topical in England in recent years, with significant happenings, such as The Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) at the Tavistock Clinic closing, the banning of puberty blockers being prescribed to children, and the release of the recent CASS report, which highlighted the lack of a clear evidence base for allowing children to change sex. In a further shift of policy, NHS England has rightly stated that biological sex is fact and should be respected in hospital settings. What did the MHRA do to ensure no harm came from production of unknown proteins following mRNA injections?

2 May 2024 @ 11:39 am

In November 2023, a team from Cambridge published their research which showed that the vaccine mRNA did not just lead to spike protein production. The code could slip such that any number of unknown proteins could be produced. They demonstrated the problem by showing an immune response to one of the potential “off target” proteins. Conflicts in Cancer Data

24 April 2024 @ 8:24 pm

Many of our readers will be aware of the claims of a rise in cancers since the vaccine rollout, particularly among the young. The data published by the UK on this topic is contradictory but data from around the world is signifying there is a genuine problem. The post Conflicts in Cancer Data appeared first on HART.

Covid-19 Response and Excess Deaths

After a complaint to the Speaker’s office the compromise was 20 minutes. The post Covid-19 Response and Excess Deaths appeared first on HART.
