by Steve Cox Jason's biggest problem is that he can't retreat via other players' Fleets, so if the game gets beyond the early Cycles - when there are still empty Areas to retreat to by land - he needs a big army. That means winning Ares a couple of times, but if his player is Ares, Jason can't use his Military Power (hope you got that right!) After that, the player needs to win Poseidon, otherwise his enemies will conspire to isolate him on a small island somewhere on the edge of the map, and when Poseidon is face-down, he needs to somehow make sure he is near the front of the turn order track, so that his opponents cannot easily force him to pay so much for his God that he has no GP left for moving.So I don't think Jason is OP, except against inexperienced players, and in that scenario, my variant suggestions above should keep him in check.

by Mad-Halfling Thanks for that. I was surprised to see very little about the weapons as these are a key tactical part of the game (even more so in the latest games) and the boardgame does have the boss battles so weapon-tactics are (I would think) a key part of those big battles

by PARTYTANK Great reply! With this info, I will have to wait and see more when the campaign starts and more videos of gameplay are posted. Also, thanks for sharing some artwork with me and the rest of the community (if this hasnt been shared before). I am curious if certain areas will ever be off-limits due to decisions in the game, offering more replay value and giving some limits to the sandbox philosophy. I would hate to play through it and find conflicting story arcs or interactive paragraphs that dont line up with the tale of events.Looking forward to seeing more of this game and what else it has to offer!

by Sedd german answere:Nimm doch ein normales Kartendeck und wenn du dazu ne hübsche Übersicht möchtest (zum Leben zählen,etc.), dann findest du bei "files" sicher was passendes. Dann kannst du heute noch spielen. Alternativ könntest du auch eine andere (nicht-deutsche) Version nehmen. Das Spiel ist Sprachneutral.
