by thesaursaur I also want to express my appreciation for dafrca's effort here. 4AD is not exactly a simple system to get into with the original rulebook and all these modules. I know I would have a much tougher time playing this without his help. No amount of thanks will ever be enough.

by Stilgar66 The Mystics civ says that after playing a tapestry card, you gain the top card from the deck, then discard your entire hand and gain bonuses based on how many cards you discarded. Does the card you just acquired count towards that total? In other words, does the card you just drew from the deck go to your hand, or does it go to your deck?Thanks!

by Dardenn Having thought about it, given the above response from the publisher, I think there are 2 possibilities if doing an action would take you over 5 cards in hand:1. If the parts of the action would happen sequentially then do not perform the part that would put you over the 5 card limit. 2. If the parts of the action would happen simultaneously then you cannot perform that part of the action in its entirety and you cannot choose to only perform part of the action. For example, noting the above and my previous post, because the Sendervictorius card action is simultaneous you couldn't choose to only take 1 card rather than 2 if it would put you over the 5 card limit. I think that works within the logic of the clarification given by the publisher.
