Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 to have a smaller display crease

19 January 2026 @ 12:51 pm

According to a report by DealSite, Samsung will be incorporating new display technology into its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold8 foldable this summer. The company will reportedly use UTG (Ultra Thin Glass) not only for the display's top layer, but also for the bottom end. Additionally, Samsung will apply a laser-drilled metal support plate to reinforce the foldable structure, which will help with the crease even further. This approach differs from the...

Infinix Note Edge in for review

19 January 2026 @ 6:01 am

Infinix has entered the trendy slim space with the freshly unveiled Infinix Note Edge. Now, this isn't one of those sub-6mm slim phones, but at 7.2mm, it's still thinner than the majority of phones out there. Infinix says this is the first phone to feature MediaTek's Dimensity 7100 5G chip. The Infinix Note Edge has a now-retro design with sloping, curving panels on either side of a thin frame. The phone's corners are also very rounded, a trend we've seen very little of in recent years. Infinix touts its "ripple texture" finish, which it says is silk-like to the touch. The rear...

Infinix promises it will retain at least 80% of its initial capacity...
