by DieterS Jukka and Bob,If you're right, then there's no practical difference between playing a yellow WildCard or a regular Diplomacy card. You can simply add the pluses and minus together at the end of the Government phase. Whether there are in-between adjustments with a WildCard won't matter. But try it out to see if I'm wrong. Make up two test hands and battle over a Minor Neutral. See whether playing a yellow WildCard instead of a regular Diplomacy card makes any difference in the final outcome.

by SpaceSlugJoe Thanks. I'll add that to the watch list! I think one of the reasons I often dislike open information and comms is that I'll naturally try and solve the puzzle across players and then it can be tricky to find the line of being helpful and taking someone's fun/autonomy from the game

by turks1966 Get Utah, if you ever play it, it has more scenarios and is based on the latest ruleset. TDC is based on a prior ruleset and it has fewer scenarios. It's really more of a preference about the topic that will probably make your decision for you.
