by RonanS I'm playing it solo again at the moment - really enjoying it (it's very engaging to try to beat Tingent to the higher Achievement options). When I encounter a choice about the cards to take from the Wilderness, I'm playing it that the end score cards (the '5 point, bell icon, cards' for Tingent at the end) are always higher than the end score on the other types of cards so where there is a choice to be made, I go with the higher result for Tingent. (Tingent doesn't activate Creature Card abilities - I'm referencing the 3rd bullet on the left hand side of p23 of the rule book for this - so I understand it that it's the end score on the card that matters).
