Top 10 trending phones of week 19
10 May 2026 @ 9:23 pm
We didn't see too many new announcements over the past week, which probably explains why our trending chart has a very similar look to last week. Once again we have the Samsung Galaxy A57 leading the pack, followed by the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Honor 600 Pro.
[#InlinePriceWidget, 14320, 1#]
The biggest gainer is the Galaxy A17, now up to fourth, followed by the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max, which retained its fifth position.
The upcoming Xiaomi 17T Pro is already causing a stir, claiming sixth position, while the vivo X300 FE is back in seventh.
The Redmi Note 15 is yet another...vivo X300 Ultra Victory Green hands-on
10 May 2026 @ 5:31 pm
vivo unveiled the X300 Ultra in March in China, and later announced it for the global markets, making it the first Ultra model to debut outside vivo's home country. The vivo X300 Ultra was also launched in India a few days ago at a grand event hosted in New Delhi. The smartphone will be available in India in Eclipse Black and Victory Green colors. We already showed you the X300 Ultra in silver and black shades, so let's take a quick look at the Victory Green colorway now.
[#InlinePriceWidget,14388,1#]
Needless to say, the front of the vivo X300 Ultra's Victory Green model is the same as...Sony Xperia 1 VIII listed, coming May 13, Xiaomi 17T series leaks, Week 19 in review
10 May 2026 @ 2:04 pm
Welcome to this week's recap. The Sony Xperia 1 VIII was prematurely listed on Amazon, revealing a very hefty price tag - €1,868.99 in Germany, £1,728 in the UK. Sony later announced the official date for the Xperia 1 VIII unveiling - May 13.
The Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro leaked. We got both specs and renders of the upcoming phones. The Xiaomi 17T will have a 6.59-inch 120Hz AMOLED, and the Dimensity 8500-Ultra SoC with 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. It gets a triple camera system with a 50MP main camera, 50MP 5x zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide. Upfront is a 32MP selfie. Finally, expect a...Weekly deals: the Samsung Galaxy S26 trio gets discounts up to €500, iPhones also get price cuts
10 May 2026 @ 10:31 am
We’re headed into the second half of 2026, which is when Samsung switches its focus to the Z-foldables. Meanwhile, the S26 series has received some pretty significant price cuts.
We start with the Samsung Galaxy S26. The base model – which finally features 256GB of storage instead of 128GB – is €165 off. There’s the option to upgrade to 512GB, which also involves a discount voucher. All three S26 phones follow the same pattern – straight discount for a 256GB model, discount + voucher for the 512GB model.
Samsung Galaxy...Weekly poll: would you buy a Motorola Razr 70, Razr 70+ or Razr 70 Ultra? Which one?
10 May 2026 @ 7:07 am
While this year the big news in the Motorola Razr family is the launch of the first book-style foldable, the Razr brand is still very much associated with flip foldables. The company refreshed its offerings with three new models: the Razr 70, Razr 70+ and Razr 70 Ultra. As usual, these will have slightly different names in the US: Razr 2026, Razr+ 2026 and Razr Ultra 2026. Let’s start with the top model.
The Motorola Razr 70 Ultra (aka Razr Ultra 2026) is an iterative update – it uses the same Snapdragon 8 Elite silicon, although it does have the overclocked version (4.47GHz CPU...Weekly poll results: the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is like a diamond, brilliant but expensive
10 May 2026 @ 3:31 am
We know that everything has been getting more expensive lately, but the prices of Ultra-class phones have gone too high for many who are interested in getting one.
In last week’s poll, there was a lot of interest in the Oppo Find X9 Ultra with two-thirds of voters showing interest in the device – but only half of those thought that they could afford it. And the X9 Ultra isn’t even the most expensive Ultra on the market, although it does cost more than most.
People are looking at trade-in bonuses, freebies like the Hasselblad Earth Explorer Kit and other ways to try and justify the...Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro in for review
10 May 2026 @ 12:02 am
Huawei's Watch Fit 5 Pro is officially global, and is priced at £250. The watch comes in Orange, White, and Black. In the box, you'll find the watch, a nice orange fabric strap (in our case), and the universal wireless charging puck (though one that sadly still ends on a USB-A port).
The lineup's design is very similar to Apple's Watch and Watch Ultra, but this year we are starting to see more difference. The front is no longer a flat glass surface like on the Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro, and instead, there's a noticeable 2.5D curve to the glass. It's still a sapphire crystal glass, so you...Weekly deals: the Google Pixel 10 series is up to $300 off, Galaxy A37 gets its first real discount
9 May 2026 @ 8:02 pm
We’ve been watching the prices of Pixel 10 phones fluctuate over the last few weeks, but it’s rare to see all four non-folding models get solid discounts at the same time. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A37 got its first actual price drop.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL is $300 off at the moment – this puts the base model (which has 256GB storage, unlike the other three) at $900. The 512GB model is just over $1,000. We have a detailed comparison article that pits the Pixel 10 Pro XL against the Galaxy S26 Ultra to help you choose between the two flagships.
...Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro and Buds4 Pro receive stability-focused software updates
9 May 2026 @ 6:01 pm
Samsung has released new software updates for the Galaxy Buds3 Pro and Galaxy Buds4 Pro TWS earphones.
The update for the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro comes with firmware version R630XXU0AZD2, requires a download of about 8MB, and brings stability-focused improvements to the earphones.
The update for the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro, on the other hand, weighs around 8.5MB and comes with firmware version R640XXU0AZD2. But the Buds4 Pro's update, like the Buds3 Pro's, also focuses on stability, as the changelog says the device's behavior has been improved.
The software update for the...Nothing Ear (open) Bluetooth earphones are getting a new color on May 11
9 May 2026 @ 3:01 pm
Nothing launched the Ear (open) TWS earphones in September 2024, but they are still offered in a single color - white. Well, the white model will be joined by a new color next week, as Nothing has announced it will launch the blue version of the Ear (open) on May 11.
Nothing hasn't revealed the blue Ear (open) entirely yet, but it did give us a glimpse of the new colorway by sharing its photo on X. You can check it below.
Lots of things are blue: the sky, the ocean, a 1996-era Walkman. Swimming pools, tennis courts, everything by Yves Klein. Ear (open) is blue too.11.05....videocardz.com
