by inle_badger +1 to reading The Art of Blitz articleSome scenarios will favour the Overlord, especially at the beginning of a campaign, but plenty will favour the heroes unless they screw up badly at the start which is a very plausible for kids thinking they need to see each dungeon through to the end. You will have plenty of opportunity to play your A game later on depending on the scenario, but your best approach for the first few games will be to advise them very strongly when they ought to cut their losses and run. Playing through a 60 hour scenario which they’ve already lost is no fun for anybody.
