Weekly deals: Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra price drops, the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL is still cheaper
7 June 2026 @ 8:07 pm
As a reminder, Amazon pulled Prime Day forward this year and it is now scheduled for June 23-26. The retailer already has early Prime Day deals that you may want to have a peek at. In the meantime, here are the standard deals – no subscription required.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 512GB is down to $1,220, which is a bit lower than it was a couple of weeks ago. The phone is clearly the big seller this generation as the other two S26 models get no discounts at all. We’re highlighting the 512GB model in particular as the 256GB version has a noticeably smaller discount, so it’s only $45 less...Sony 1000X The Collexion review
7 June 2026 @ 5:09 pm
10 years ago, Sony announced its MDR-1000X noise-canceling headphones in a bid to challenge Bose and its QuietComfort lineup. And they did just that with the 1000X series going on to become synonymous with class-leading noise canceling and audio quality.
With ten years under their belt, Sony decided to launch a special edition of its flagship ANC headphones dubbed Sony 1000X The Collexion. With a more premium build, custom drivers and sound tuning from mastering experts, these cans are clearly meant to stand out from the regular WH-1000XM6.
But they also come with a $200/€200 price...iPhone Fold photo leak, Nvidia RTX Spark is official, Week 23 in review
7 June 2026 @ 2:04 pm
Another week, another couple of foldable iPhone stories. The first is a big one, coming straight from Ice Universe; it's a photo of the device in the wild. The photo shows the White/Silver finish of the inaugural foldable and confirms its stocky shape.
Another rumor claims the foldable iPhone will have a vapor chamber for cooling. It's not surprising, given that the iPhone Pro models have a vapor chamber.
Motorola unveiled the Edge (2026) for the US and Canadian markets. The phone brings a smaller 6.3-inch display than its predecessor and will go on sale on June 11 with a $600 price...Weekly deals: Xiaomi 17T series, 17 Ultra, and Google’s Pixel 10 phones on discount
7 June 2026 @ 11:07 am
The Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro, which were unveiled last month and went on sale last week, continue to be available with their launch offers intact. The flagship Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra are also currently discounted. In addition, deals are available on select Google Pixel models and several other smartphones.
Xiaomi 17T is available with a £150 discount at checkout, whereas the Xiaomi 17T Pro is eligible for a £200 discount. The standard 17T comes with a 6.59-inch display, a Dimensity 8500 Ultra SoC, triple rear cameras, and a 6,500mAh battery.
...Weekly poll: will you buy the Motorola Razr Fold?
7 June 2026 @ 8:07 am
Motorola joined the flip foldable market pretty early on with the Razr 2019, a few months before Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip (a delayed launch meant that these two arrived very close together). However, Samsung had kicked things off with a book-style foldable the year before, while Motorola took this long to make its first.
The Motorola Razr Fold is already available in multiple regions, starting with the UK and Europe, then India, the US and Canada.

7 June 2026 @ 5:07 am
The Oppo Pad 5 Matte Display has a 12.1” IPS LCD that is optimized for reading and note-taking. It has 2,800 x 1,980px resolution, runs at 120Hz refresh rate and renders 12-bit colors. As the name suggests, this has a matte display instead of a glossy one. The panel is TÜV Rheinland certified for a 97% cut to reflections and a 70% reduction in harmful blue light.
You can check out our unboxing post to learn more about the slate and its key selling points. Here we will focus on performance – how good is that Dimensity 7300 Ultra? Note that we are testing the middle version with 8GB of RAM...Weekly poll results: the Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro are too expensive, but a price cut can fix that
7 June 2026 @ 2:01 am
Predictably, the €100 price hike on the Xiaomi 17T series upset many voters in last week’s poll. However, Xiaomi did make some good choices too.
The Xiaomi 17T is smaller than its predecessor and its Pro sibling – it has a 6.59” display versus 6.83” on the 15T and 17T Pro. Barely anyone complained about the smaller size, so, well done Xiaomi. The big battery (6,500mAh) inside the phone certainly helps.
The capable 50MP 5x/115mm periscope also proved to be a popular change among voters. And while the Dimensity 8500 Ultra can’t fight flagship-grade silicon, it is just the right chipset to...Samsung Galaxy Watch9 and Watch Ultra 2's charging speeds revealed as they get 3C certified
6 June 2026 @ 11:02 pm
Samsung is expected to unveil its next-gen Galaxy Watches alongside its new folding smartphones, rumored to go official on July 22 at an event in London. Samsung hasn't confirmed how many smartwatches it will unveil, but the charging speeds of two of them have been revealed as they got 3C certified.
The two Samsung smartwatches, bearing model code SM-L3550 and SM-L7150, have appeared in the 3C database with support for 10W charging. The SM-L3550 is believed to be the Galaxy Watch9, while the SM-L7150 is likely the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
The Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch Ultra had...Fastest mobile chipsets ranked: compare smartphone processor performance
6 June 2026 @ 8:33 pm
The gap between smartphone chips in 2026 is absurd. The fastest chip we’ve tested is roughly 15 times more powerful than the slowest one still found in modern smartphones. And yet both can run essentially the same apps, games and operating systems. Mobile silicon has become wildly diverse.
Of course, raw performance isn’t everything. Software optimization, thermal management, storage speed and app behavior all play a huge role in how fast a phone actually feels day to day. But when it comes to demanding workloads, there’s still no substitute for brute computational power.
So we decided...Samsung Galaxy A27 surfaces in a new color
6 June 2026 @ 6:05 pm
Renders of the Samsung Galaxy A27, which leaked last week, showed the smartphone in three colors and corroborated previous design leaks. Now, we are looking at the Galaxy A27 in a new color, which might be called Awesome Mint, as its images were included in a retail listing. You can check them below.
The Galaxy A27 is expected to go official in H2 2026, but Samsung hasn't announced the launch date yet. Samsung hasn't divulged any specs or features of the Galaxy A27 either. However, a recent leak claimed the Galaxy A27 would come with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, up to...videocardz.com
