by mvettemagred The new scenarios should work with the old base game ruleset. However, some icons have changed, as have the card and tile designs. For example, the Courage, Item, Adventure, Misadventure, and Companion icons are different. Also, if you need to mix old and new cards/tiles to play a scenario, the new stuff will be easily identifiable in the deck/stack.Finally, the Soul Shard system has changed (pooled resource versus personal resource), and the Search mechanism is now a Scavenge deck. You could still use the old Search mechanism with the new scenarios.
