Thanks for the great list! I don't enjoy a particular period so much. What catches my interest is when a game 1) has interesting political dynamics in addition to (or instead of) the military aspect of the conflict and/or 2) covers a conflict that I don't already know much about. It's a great opportunity to learn while I'm playing.

Hi! Just played DR3 at a board game convention with a full 6 players, everyone had a blast and it got me sticking my nose into the DRX rules ahead of its (hopeful) release sometime this year. Going through the basic rules I think the Storming section has me a bit confused - it might be obvious and I'm just not understanding but my confusion is this:In section 4.6.4.3.2 it is stated that To inflict any damage, the attacker must win a modified combat roll by more than the value of the intrinsic garrison. [bgcolor=#ffff00]The defending force does not have this handicap and inflicts damage as usual.[/bgcolor]EXAMPLE: if the Goblins rolled a 6 and Plibba rolled a 4, Plibba would suffer no losses: 7 − 5 = 2, which merely equals Plibba’s intrinsic garrison.In the case

After weeks of teasers, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is now official. Oppo unveiled its latest cameraphone flagship in China, and promised to roll it to select global markets.
The star of the show is obviously the Hasselblad quad-rear camera setup, so let’s start with that. The Find X9 Ultra comes with a 200MP Sony LYT-901 main rear camera with a 1/1.12-inch sensor size, f/1.5 aperture, and OIS.

Oppo has packed so much tech into the Find X9 Ultra that it’s going to take multiple presentations to cover everything. So, the company is getting a head start before tomorrow’s unveiling with this detailed description of the quad camera system.
First, Oppo focuses on 10x optical zoom (230mm). It says that previous devices have attempted it without naming names, but it says that cramming this focal length into a phone came at the cost of “severely limited light intake and low pixel counts”.

Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi A7 Pro 5G in India, and the company has now followed it up with a 4G variant of the A7 Pro, alongside the standard Redmi A7 4G.
The Redmi A7 4G features a 6.88-inch LCD, while the A7 Pro 4G gets a 6.9-inch panel. Both devices offer a 120Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
Under the hood, both smartphones are powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, paired with up to 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage. They also include a microSD card slot for expandable storage.

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is almost here – it will be officially unveiled later, April 21. Until then, the company is posting teasers and videos to build up hype for its camera flagship. Several videos just went up on Oppo’s YouTube page that showcase what the X9 Ultra can do in the hands of professionals.
In the first video below, photographer Jerome and explorer Guille travelled to Kyrgyzstan to capture one perfect shot – an eagle hunter in the mountains with the moon up in the sky. The team shot at 600mm (using the 300mm Hasselblad add-on lens) to make the moon appear huge.

Motorola is unveiling one or more new Razrs internationally on April 29, as revealed earlier today. Now, a new report from France brings us more information about the US market. Like last year, the lineup will be rebranded over there, and there's an extra model.

The vivo Y500 Pro launched back in November is getting a successor soon, and it is already listed on China Telecom’s database. The vivo Y600 Pro (V2561A) will bring several updates, including a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display featuring 2,800 x 1,260px resolution and a massive 10,200mAh battery with 80W charging.

The Poco M8s 5G is the latest addition to the company’s M8 lineup. It features a large 7,000mAh battery and a 6.9-inch display. The handset is now available in global markets, starting at $189 for the base variant.
It is equipped with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, which can be configured with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone also offers expandable storage via a microSD card slot.

vivo today made the Y6t official. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, and it comes with a 6.74-inch LCD screen with 720x1600 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
On the rear there's a 13MP camera, while on the front you get a 5MP snapper for selfies. Keeping the lights on is a 6,500 mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging. The phone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top.

Motorola is unveiling a new Razr smartphone on April 29. The company has just revealed this via its official account on X. There's also a teaser video to go with it.
The Razr 70 and Razr 70 Ultra have both been leaking a lot lately, and it stands to reason that their maker would finally decide to make them official. And the timing is impeccable too, seeing as how the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra arrived in late April of last year.
