by Tardigrade Matsuri Had an unexpected interaction this afternoon. Volta cast Grit during a journey with the night travel hardship, so I'm not sure the order of the interactions.When either Grit or Warrior's Wisdom is in the spell or boost role, it subtracts points from the player's initiative, depending on its level. Night travel says "Reduce your Boost by your Initiative, to a minimum of 0."So the question is what is the sequencing?If Grit's and Warrior's Wisdom's penalties are executed before night travel, then they make the hardship easier, which is counterintuitive. If they are executed after, then they have no effect, which the rules don't state.(It didn't affect the outcome in my case because the element's initiative was already 1.)However, any ruling should take into consideration the opposite circumstance, e.g., if Tempest's reser

I just have too many games demanding my attention, especially legacy and campaign games.On my Top 20 Solo Game of 2025 Geeklist, I even call this out as a game I really want to get back on the table in 2026.I would say playing a game with all four characters runs about 2 hours tops? It's got a snappy pace and doesn't drag. You're always worried about not having enough time to get everything done. But it makes it really fun when you pull it off.I know this game has a few detractors but I really like it myself.Hope that helps!Dave
