If you found a way to thin your deck enough and draw both Uxians and Exports every turn, you could have opted for development from your development deck. Exports > Development to acquire a card from the market > Uxians. This will leave you with 4 materials every round, a card from the market and an unrest for your opponent to deal with.Now you just need a sink for your materials. Moneylenders would be an excellent pickup... maybe diplomacy?

by Manugrotesk I found the game too simple and confusing in some respects, so I invented new rules and added the following components: a pirate ship, a die, cubes in the players' colors for turn order, 10 red and purple movement cubes (to keep track), and veto tokens (which allow you to change a market card). The pirate ship was a spare ship from my Entdecker box, and this ship is bigger, which gave me the idea of the pirate blockade rule (it can occupy 3 sea routes at once between Denmark and Sweden). There are also indicator tokens because we had a terrible time locating the cities using only their names (I had the same problem with the pick-up and delivery in the second Orleans expansion). I also reintroduced (as in the first version of the game) an auction phase, partly inspired by the auctions in Peloponnes.
