by Cheddarific Played against my son today. He told me beforehand which are his 2 favorite characters. I chose a character that had one of them as quarry. Won in just a couple minutes because of course he picked that character.Strategy: choose based on the board state or else choose randomly. Do not choose based on which model you like best.

by Footballzs Follow up. I eventually finished and WON! A lesson learnt, never give up. It was frustrating at first. I was able to do lot of recruiting but no combat for a while. And I did a lot of retiring. I eventually gained a reward that allowed me to get any card from the recruitment deck. I recruited Drawbridge. Each of my characters then had that card. Eventually I defeated Sharkbite and from then it was reasonably easy to win. I was lucky to get the 3 mission specific goals reasonably early. I did get to Event Track #4 but found the final reward before getting to #5 and losing. Very satisfying after the initial assumption that I had no hope.

by VilainPersonnage As of now, CrowD are not planning to have an upgrade pack add on in the upcoming kickstarter. We can understand that : it need to be viable from a financial standpoint before they can think about it.As a first edition Nippon afficionados that realised all the work that was done on the new version a bit late, I wasn't able to grab an Emperor edition here, in Canada. Thinking it was too late for that version, I preordered the standard edition... to learn a few days later of the upcoming reprint! I know that this game will be played a lot in my group, as the old version was a few years ago. So, for the sake of replayability, I want to know if there is a way for me to get the alternate factories... and the beautiful deluxe components. Are there other people in a similar situation? If we can show here that an upgrade pack might be viable... maybe CrowD would be willing to accomo
