GoPro...GameBench releases its free FPS Monitor app to let you monitor professional-grade performance metrics on your device
15 April 2026 @ 8:48 am
GameBench is a name that should be familiar to gamers, game developers, journalists, content creators, and anyone who wants to monitor a device's performance metrics while gaming. The company offers GameBench Pro, which is targeted at this audience, but it costs thousands of dollars. To make this performance data more accessible, GameBench has announced a free app called GameBench FPS Monitor. We had exclusive pre-release access to this app, which is now available to all Android users through the Google Play Store, provided their device runs Android 11 or later.
As the name suggests, the...Google app with AI Mode is now available for Windows worldwide
15 April 2026 @ 5:31 am
Back in September of last year, Google launched an experimental Windows app with AI Mode built-in. Now, this has been made available to everyone across the globe, but only in English for now. Undoubtedly more languages are going to be supported soon.
The Google app for Windows lets you use Alt+Space as a shortcut to bring it up in a small window and ask it anything. That shortcut will be very familiar to you if you're a Mac user, of course, since it's what brings up Spotlight search.
Google's app obviously provides a Google search box, but it's so much more - you can...Oppo reveals the main specs for the Pad 5 Pro and Pad Mini

The Find X9s will be unveiled alongside the Find X9 Ultra on April 21. In short, it appears that China will get the Find X9s Pro, whereas global markets will receive the non-Pro model. We’d reported earlier that Oppo will launch the Find X9s Pro globally, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Oppo has also confirmed several key specifications of the Find X9s. The...Redmi K90 Max's launch date and main specs officially confirmed

The affected smartphones include the 512GB versions of the Galaxy Z Flip7 and S25 Edge, as well as the 256GB version of the Galaxy S25 FE. The Z Flip7 is now $80 more expensive, as is the S25 Edge. Galaxy S25 FE (256GB) is $40 costlier than before.

The Ace 6 Ultra will have a 165Hz refresh rate on its screen, which was jointly developed by OnePlus with BOE. The colorway you see in these images is being referred to as Ace Awakening, and it is made with a new 3D stereoscopic lithography process, "etching light into the phone" (machine...Amazon buys Apple's satellite connectivity partner
14 April 2026 @ 4:44 pm
Today Amazon has announced that it's acquiring Globalstar, which is the company that enables Apple's satellite connectivity features. Basically, Globalstar provides the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation that iPhones and Apple Watches connect to when they're outside of cellular or Wi-Fi coverage, and Apple uses up most of Globalstar's network capacity.
Amazon wants to use Globalstar's satellites to add direct-to-device services to future generations of its LEO network. Globalstar's satellites will expand the Amazon Leo (Amazon Leo is Amazon's LEO satellite company, hence the...videocardz.com
