Thread: Gaia Project:: General:: Possible negotiation variant

29 March 2026 @ 10:24 pm

by BifanasNoPao I realize this is probably not a very popular opinion, but have people come up with negotiation variants for this game?I'll be honest here: the main reason I got this game in the first place was because our group mainly played Catan, and this seemed like a fine candidate, with no dice dictating resources on top of that! And as expected, the game was played A LOT, until we ended up moving to other games (mostly out of curiosity and the group changing). One thing we felt was missing though was the player interaction that came with trading/negotiation. Sure, there are ways to interact in this game: racing to certain spots in the research track, blocking/occupying planets, benefiting from the trade stations' proximity... but I gotta say, we sometimes wished we could exchange some of our resources for other ones with other players. Didn't need to be completely open negotiation, a fixed e

Top 10 trending phones of week 13

29 March 2026 @ 8:22 pm

After its predecessors dominated our trending chart for the past two years, it's hardly surprising that the Samsung Galaxy A57 topped our trending chart in the week of its debut. It enjoyed a comfortable lead over second placed Poco X8 Pro Max and the Galaxy S26 Ultra in third. [#InlinePriceWidget, 14379, 1#] Poco X8 Pro came in fourth, followed by the outgoing Galaxy A56. The other member of Samsung's new mid-range duo, the Galaxy A37, came in sixth. We then have the iPhone 17 Pro Max, followed by the OnePlus 15T and the Galaxy A17. The Redmi Note 15 completes this installment of...

Xiaomi Watch 5 review

29 March 2026 @ 3:51 pm

It’s no secret that battery endurance has always been the Achilles’ heel of Wear OS smartwatches, so when Xiaomi announced its Watch 5 with a massive 930mAh Silicon-carbon (Si-C) battery, we were instantly intrigued. With claims of up to 6 days of regular use, which extends to 18 days in power save mode, Watch 5 offers the longest runtimes of any smartwatch running Android on the wrist. Alongside the lofty battery claims, Xiaomi also outfitted the Watch 5 with a big 1.54” AMOLED touchscreen protected by sapphire glass and a premium stainless-steel casing. This is also the first...

Samsung Galaxy A57/A37, OnePlus 15T official, Week 13 in review

29 March 2026 @ 9:07 am

The highly anticipated arrival of the Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 went down this week. Both share the core specs of their predecessors but with subtle 2026 improvements - new chipsets, better build quality, and some more AI. The Samsung Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 will be available from April 9 or 10 (it varies by region). In the US, the A37 will start at $450, while the base A57 option will cost $550. In Europe, the prices are €430 and €530, respectively. In some regions, you will get the higher storage tier (256GB) for free during a short promotional period. This varies by region...

Hot take: Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37

29 March 2026 @ 6:08 am

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A57 and A37 mid-rangers this week and they will go on sale in early April. We will be doing full reviews on these two in due time, but we wanted to share our initial thoughts first. The Galaxy A56 and A36 were very successful In its report for Q2 last year, the IDC highlighted both the Galaxy A56 and A36 as key growth drivers for Samsung. The A56 was also the best-selling phone in Europe last year, beating out the iPhone 16. It didn’t do so well in the US, but that’s because Samsung bungled the launch – more on that in a bit. Also, in our Top 20 most popular...

Weekly poll: will you buy the Samsung Galaxy A57 or the Galaxy A37?

29 March 2026 @ 3:05 am

The Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 will be available from April 9 or 10 (it varies a bit by country) with a starting price of $550 / €530 / ₹63,000 and $450 / €430 / ₹57,000, respectively. Note that during the pre-order period, Samsung offers a free storage upgrade in some regions. How does that sound to you? Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A57 has a slimmer and lighter frame (6.9mm, 179g vs. 7.4mm, 198g) with better water resistance (IP68 vs. IP67). And it has a new chipset, the Exynos 1680, which replaces the 1580. The bezels around the 6.7” 120Hz 1080p+ display are slimmer...

Weekly poll results: the Oppo Find N6 gets praise, but limited availability is an issue

29 March 2026 @ 1:21 am

The Oppo Find N6 will be a very popular phone – and it could have been even more popular, but Oppo decided not to offer it in Europe. Otherwise, the N6 could have hit an impressive 50% positive vote in last week’s poll or gone even higher, assuming the phone reviews well (we have a review unit and we’re already testing it). The phone’s predecessor, the Find N5, impressed us last year and the N6 brings several important upgrades like the “zero-feel” crease, the 200MP main camera and the larger 6,000mAh Si/C battery. Of course, foldables aren’t for everyone – many in the comments said...

Weekly deals: Galaxy S25 FE on sale, OnePlus 15 and 15R prices drop, Pixel 10 also discounted

28 March 2026 @ 10:17 pm

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 earlier this week. However, the two phones will only become available on April 9, which is Thursday next week. You can pre-order an A57 (8/128GB) for $550 or an A37 (6/128GB) for $450. But while we wait, let’s have a look at what else is available. [#InlinePriceWidget, 14379, 1#] [#InlinePriceWidget, 14378, 1#] You can pick up last year’s model, the Galaxy A56, for $165 less than the A57. You will lose out on the new, slimmer build (the A56 is 7.4mm, 198g vs. 6.9mm, 179g for the A57), the new chipset (Exynos 1580 vs. 1680) and the upgraded...

Similar to its predecessor, the Mac Pro was a desktop tower PC with a modular design that allowed the user to replace the CPU, memory, optical and storage drives, and PCI expansion cards. The basic format of the Mac Pro remained unchanged till 2012, even as it...
