19 January 2026 @ 2:55 pm
As we wait for next month’s Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, leaks surrounding the S26 Ultra keep piling on. The latest one concerns the flagship's four official colors, which leaked online.
Universe Ice shared images of the S26 Ultra’s SIM card trays revealing its four color options: black, white, blue and purple. According to rumors, the official color names will be Black Shadow, White Shadow, Glacial Blue and Ultraviolet.

The notable omission is the previously rumored orange colorway which leaked but was since...Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 to have a smaller display crease
19 January 2026 @ 12:51 pm
According to a report by DealSite, Samsung will be incorporating new display technology into its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold8 foldable this summer. This will allow it to decrease the visible crease by around 20%, although we are not sure how one can measure crease visibility reliably enough.
The company will reportedly use UTG (Ultra Thin Glass) not only for the display's top layer, but also for the bottom end. Additionally, Samsung will apply a laser-drilled metal support plate to reinforce the foldable structure, which will help with the crease even further. This approach differs from the...Realme details P4 Power’s TransView design
19 January 2026 @ 11:53 am
Realme’s upcoming P4 Power is set to launch in India soon, featuring a massive 10,000mAh battery. We now get more details on its design, which was co-created with students from India’s Pearl Academy design college.
Realme P4 Power is the first phone to get the TransView design look, which features a dual-tone finish on the back. The bottom half gets a matte texture while the top area gets a semi-transparent look with a “Precision Energy Loop” element surrounding the camera island.
P4 Power will be offered in three color options – TransSilver, TransOrange and...Realme Neo8 battery capacity, new features revealed
19 January 2026 @ 10:54 am
Just days ahead of its launch, new details about the Realme Neo8 have been officially confirmed by the company. The phone is set to launch on January 22 in China and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC.
Through several Weibo posts, Realme confirmed the battery capacity and other features of the Neo8. It will house an 8,000mAh battery, which is 1,000mAh larger than the cell on the Neo7.
Realme also revealed that the phone will be IP66/IP68/IP69 rated and come with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The display, which is confirmed to be a Samsung M14 OLED panel with...Confirmed: Asus is exiting the smartphone market
19 January 2026 @ 10:02 am
A report from earlier this month suggested there won’t be any new Asus phones launching this year, and we now have official confirmation that the brand is moving away from smartphones altogether.
Asus chairman Jonney Shih confirmed that the brand is not planning any new smartphone releases during a special event gala at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. According to reports, Asus will focus its resources and R&D on commercial PCs and physical AI (i.e., robotics and smart glasses). The brand will still offer maintenance, software updates, and warranty services for existing...Lava Blaze Duo 3 debuts with dual screens and 5,000mAh battery

On the front, the phone sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

19 January 2026 @ 6:01 am
Infinix has entered the trendy slim space with the freshly unveiled Infinix Note Edge. Now, this isn't one of those sub-6mm slim phones, but at 7.2mm, it's still thinner than the majority of phones out there. Infinix says this is the first phone to feature MediaTek's Dimensity 7100 5G chip.
The Infinix Note Edge has a now-retro design with sloping, curving panels on either side of a thin frame. The phone's corners are also very rounded, a trend we've seen very little of in recent years.
Infinix touts its "ripple texture" finish, which it says is silk-like to the touch. The rear...Infinix Note Edge is now official with Dimensity 7100, 7.2mm thickness
19 January 2026 @ 5:00 am
The Infinix Note Edge that we teased a few days ago is now fully official. The phone is 7.2mm thick, weighs 185g, and is powered by MediaTek's recently announced Dimensity 7100 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM.
There's a curved 6.78-inch screen with "1.5K" resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2,800Hz touch sampling rate, symmetrical ultra-narrow 1.87mm bezels, 4,500-nit peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 7i on top, dual JBL stereo speakers, and a 6,500 mAh battery or a 6,150 mAh battery (the capacity is market-dependent). Infinix promises it will retain at least 80% of its initial capacity...Top 10 trending phones of week 3
18 January 2026 @ 9:02 pm
Week 3 saw a new name on top of our trending chart and it's one that was bound to make it there sooner or later. This soon is certainly surprising though, as the Galaxy S26 Ultra is not expected to go official for more than a month. Still, you guys are clearly paying attention to Samsung's upcoming flagship and all the rumors around it.
In second we have the Galaxy A56 - the beloved 2025 mid-ranger that remains one of the best-selling smartphones globally.
