by Millies_Games Hi Pam and Tim.Face down Base cards (aka Blind Cards) can be played at any point as long as it doesn't have a face up card on top, and it's the first action you make during your turn.For example, you cannot lay a "5" down on to the Playing Pile from your visible hand and then flip a blind card from underneath, hoping it matches the 5 (abiding by the Playing Pile rules).However, if you have a Blind card available to play, and the Playing Pile is currently on an 8 (for example), then you've got a good chance that the blind card will be a legal play on to the 8 if you flip it (if it's a 9 or 10, then you'd have to pick up the previous pile and start a new one with the higher cards you've just laid). by Fitz Pop Hi everyone, Stefano here, designer of Krafting Krowns (Fitz&Pop's Tabletops). For those who aren't familiar, KK is a 2-4 player dice-manipulation and hand management game where you compete to transform 9 Raw Krystals into Power Krystals by bidding for cards and playing strategic combos. We've been developing a new game mode that merges the Gathering and Krafting phases into a single simultaneous phase. In the base game these happen sequentially — you first bid dice for cards, then use those cards to manipulate dice values. In the new mode, both happen at the same time, which creates some really interesting tension between spending dice to acquire cards versus committing them to krafting. We're looking for playtesters on Tabletop Simulator to help us evaluate pacing, balance, and how the simultaneous structure changes decision-making. Sessions run about 60
