Apple's WWDC 2026 kicks off on June 8
19 May 2026 @ 4:00 am
Apple has announced the dates for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) and has begun sending out invitations for the event. As usual, the keynote is expected to showcase the company’s next-generation software updates, including iOS 27, iPadOS 27, watchOS 27, macOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27.
WWDC 2026 will kick off on June 8 with Apple’s opening keynote. This year’s conference has the tagline “Coming bright up”. The presentation could be one of the final WWDC keynotes hosted by Tim Cook as CEO of the company.
The keynote will be available to stream on Apple’s YouTube...Oppo Reno16 series, Pad 6, Enco Air 5s and more to debut on May 25
19 May 2026 @ 3:04 am
Oppo has officially announced the launch date for its upcoming Oppo Reno16 series. Alongside the new smartphones, the company will also unveil the Oppo Pad 6, Oppo Enco Air 5s, and a new selfie display accessory called Oppo Bubble.
The Oppo Reno16, Reno16 Pro, Pad 6, Enco Air 5s will debut in China on May 25. Pre-reservations for the devices are now open on Oppo’s official online store in the country.
Oppo has also confirmed that the Reno16 series will feature a 200MP triple rear camera setup. The Pro model will be available in Heartbeat, Dream Blue, and Moonlit Black color...This is when RedMagic is launching its next gaming tablet
19 May 2026 @ 1:22 am
RedMagic launched the Astra gaming tablet internationally last June, and now it's almost ready to unveil its successor. We assume this will be called Astra 2 globally, but inside China it will be known as the RedMagic Tablet 5 Pro (the original Astra was the Tablet 3 Pro and they're skipping the number 4 due to tetraphobia).
Today during its launch of the 11S Pro series, RedMagic has also started teasing the upcoming tablet, with the image you can see below. The brand has revealed that the tablet will become official in June, so almost exactly one year after its predecessor.
The new...That Apple Card free AirPods Pro 3 promo is now live but it's worse than expected
18 May 2026 @ 11:41 pm
A few days ago word got out that Apple was preparing a new offer for those signing up for the Apple Card - a free pair of AirPods Pro 3. Today the promo has gone live, but it's not as straightforward as the leak implied.
So, you need to be a new customer not having had an Apple Card before, and apply for one by June 15. With your new Apple Card, you then buy a pair of AirPods Pro 3 directly from Apple until June 15. Then, from July 1, 2026 and until April 30, 2027 you can earn $25 cashback each month for a total of ten months. After those ten months the $250 you spent on the AirPods Pro 3...Apple Watch Ultra 4 will be completely redesigned, new rumor claims
18 May 2026 @ 9:59 pm
According to a new rumor, the Apple Watch Ultra 4 will be completely redesigned. This would be the first time Apple changed the design of its most expensive smartwatch since the original Apple Watch Ultra launched back in 2022. Unfortunately, no details about what the Watch Ultra 4 would look like have actually been outed, we are just to expect a big change.
The device will also come with a "significant upgrade to sensing functions", the same source claims. It's unclear if this means that new sensors will be added, or the Watch Ultra 4 will still have the same types of sensors as the Watch...Visible introduces new discounts and sweepstakes for graduates
18 May 2026 @ 8:42 pm
Visible, Verizon's "digital-first" wireless service, has just introduced some new offers for graduation season. First off, new graduates can get the Visible unlimited plan, normally $25 per month, for just $20 per month instead for the first year, by simply using the code FRESHSTART at checkout through June 1.
That's got mobile covered, but what about home internet? Graduates can get unlimited home internet from Visible for just $30 per month all-in, without fine print or long-term commitments. So that's going to be a $50 total for home internet and mobile service for the first year, and...One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S24 series is now available globally
18 May 2026 @ 7:21 pm
Samsung started seeding the stable One UI 8.5 update based on Android 16 for the Galaxy S24 series just last week, but it was available only to US and South Korean users. Today, the company is making it available for the global market.
If you still haven't received a notification, go and check for the software update manually by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. And if that doesn't work, you might have to wait a day or two before it arrives.
The One UI 8.5 software brings a handful of new features and changes, despite what the incremental version change...Sony WH-1000X The ColleXion leak ahead of launch
18 May 2026 @ 6:01 pm
Sony is launching its WH-1000X headphones tomorrow, but a detailed leak has basically made the announcement redundant, revealing detailed official-looking product images as well as their key specs ahead of time.
Sony WH-1000X The ColleXion
The big takeaway is that the WH-1000X are being positioned as a higher-end offering than the WH-1000XM6, but it seems these aren’t their exact replacements.
The design from the previously leaked renders is corroborated in the new leak with the WH-1000X featuring a modified yoke (hinge), which features what appears to be a brushed metal...Samsung Galaxy A27 stars in new renders inside some cases
18 May 2026 @ 4:41 pm
Earlier this month, Samsung officially confirmed that the Galaxy A27 is coming, and now a case maker has seemingly leaked the device's design. We've already seen the device in CAD-based renders, mind you - about one month ago.
Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy A27 shares its design language with the already official Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37. It has a similar oval-shaped camera island, placed in the same position, as is the circular LED flash outside of it.

Interestingly, the A27 may have a hole-punch for the selfie camera instead of its predecessor's...Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro premature retailer listing reveals all
18 May 2026 @ 3:42 pm
Earlier today, Xiaomi officially announced that it's unveiling the 17T and 17T Pro at an event on May 28. The duo have been prematurely listed by a Russian retailer, however, and this has revealed all of their specs, a ton of official images, as well as prices - though prices rarely translate well from rubles to any other currency, do keep that in mind. The listings have since been taken down but the information is out there now.
The Xiaomi 17T has a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with 1268x2756 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra SoC at the helm, 12GB of RAM, a...videocardz.com
