Thread: Gloomhaven (Second Edition):: Rules:: Satha, interpreting card ability in Spur Their Spirits, Strike Now, and Bonded Through Battle

7 March 2026 @ 7:40 pm

by Xeoth Satha has a cards (Spur Their Spirits, Strike Now, and Bonded Through Battle) which have the following language:[o]“… one ally … may immediately play one card from their hand and perform the top or bottom action on that card”[/o]In certain situations this ally may be a summon, not a character. In the situation when the ally is a summon and not a character would the player controlling the summon be able to benefit from Satha’s action? Or must this ally be a character in order for these actions on Satha’s cards to have an effect? Is there a pre-existing rule or ruling that would have explained this?

Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro in for review

7 March 2026 @ 11:01 am

Samsung's next-gen buds are here, and they look subdued. That may be no bad thing, though, as they're simpler, easier to use, and should also have a better, louder sound. The buds ship in either Black or White (plus an online-exclusive Pink Gold) in a simple box with S/M/L eartips. They'll ship from March 11 and cost $250/€250 - that's the same price as the Buds3 Pro from 2024. The Galaxy Buds4 Pro ship in a smaller case with a see-through top. The buds now lie flat down in the case, unlike the Buds3 Pro, which sit upright. Just like before, you can control the buds both by...

Google Pixel 11 Pro XL design changes hinted at by case leak

7 March 2026 @ 1:01 am

If Google repeats history, the Pixel 11 family will be getting official in August. And yet, we're already seeing a purported case outed for the upcoming Pixel 11 Pro XL. It's unclear if this is really based on that device's exact measurements, or just a ploy by the case maker to get some free publicity (probably the latter, which is why we're not mentioning it). But, assuming this is real and based on real information about the Pixel 11 Pro XL, two things stand out. First, the camera island/bar will protrude much less from the phone's body than it does in the Pixel 10 Pro XL. Of...

For a very long time, Apple has been rumored to be working on a smart home hub device which everyone's been calling HomePad unofficially. This is now tipped to be finally launching this fall. The device will allegedly have a 7" square display and a front-facing camera. One version is apparently designed to be mounted on a wall, while the other iteration has a speaker base that's similar to a HomePod mini and can be placed on your counter or desk. The HomePad (or whatever it ends up being called) will have sensors to automatically detect when someone is nearby. The content displayed...
