Spotify's personal DJ feature now supports more languages and regions
8 May 2026 @ 7:21 am
Spotify has announced that its AI-powered DJ feature is expanding to more regions and will now support four additional languages. Available to Premium users, the feature can curate a personalized listening experience based on individual music tastes and listening history.
In a recent blog post, Spotify revealed that its AI DJ will now support French, German, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese.
The company is also expanding availability to Premium users in Austria, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, South Korea, and Switzerland. With this rollout, the AI DJ feature is now...Oppo Enco Clip2 unboxing and hands-on
8 May 2026 @ 4:18 am
Open earbuds have been gaining traction for a while now, and Oppo’s Enco Clip2 are its latest offering with a host of improvements over their predecessors. They bring dual-drivers co-tuned with Dynaudio, longer battery endurance, alongside updated connectivity and AI features.
But first, let’s see what comes in the box.
You get the charging case, which houses the buds and not much else. No charging cable, no extra cushions or added accessories, just the buds and their case. That’s not too different from competing clip-style earbuds we’ve tested recently.

7 May 2026 @ 11:09 pm
Huawei has now officially unveiled its latest tablet, the MatePad Pro Max. The device gets a global launch, and is priced at £999.99 in the UK.
The tablet comes with a 13.2-inch 3000x2000 OLED PaperMatte display with 144Hz refresh rate and 1,600-nit peak brightness, 12GB of RAM, 256/512GB of storage, a 50MP rear camera, a 12MP front camera, and support for 66W wired and 40W reverse wired charging.

In the EU, the battery capacity is 9,760 mAh, while outside of the EU it's 10,400 mAh instead. There's no charger in the box in the EU....Google joins the screenless fitness tracker arena with the Fitbit Air
7 May 2026 @ 9:11 pm
Google has joined the growing number of competitors for the screenless Whoop band with the Fitbit Air. Like the Whoop band, this is a fitness tracker without a screen, but unlike the Whoop band, you can use it without a subscription.
That said, Google does have a subscription on offer too: this is called Google Health Premium (previously known as Fitbit Premium) and it's $9.99 per month or $99 per year. Interestingly, Google Health Premium is included for Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers.

7 May 2026 @ 7:41 pm
To celebrate Mother's Day, today AT&T has published some interesting data revealing that Americans are texting their mothers three times more than calling them for Mother's Day.
In fact, 75% of Americans prefer texting over calling. They send their mothers three texts for every one call. Houston, San Antonio, and Chicago show moms the most love - they are the top three cities for texting and calling mothers in 2024 and 2025.
If you're wondering which of them is number one, it's Houston, with almost three million more texts and calls than any other city. Six out of the top 10...Three vivo X500 devices are coming
7 May 2026 @ 6:21 pm
vivo launched the X300 and the X300 Pro, the first members of the X300 family, back in October, and their successors will probably arrive around the same time this year, if not a little bit earlier.
Today listings in the GSM Association's IMEI database have confirmed that the X500 series will have at least three members: the X500, the X500 Pro, and the X500e.
vivo X500, X500 Pro, and X500e IMEI listings
Yes, it's going to be the X500 family, as vivo will be skipping the X400 devices due to tetraphobia. Obviously, the X500 will be the successor to the X300 and the X500 Pro to...Huawei nova 15 Max debuts with an 8,500mAh battery
7 May 2026 @ 5:41 pm
As promised last week, Huawei has announced the nova 15 Max at an event in Thailand. The standout feature of the device is the 8,500mAh battery.
If the phone looks familiar, that’s because it appears to be a rebranded version of the Enjoy 90 Pro Max, which was unveiled in China in March.
Huawei hasn’t revealed the chipset powering the phone, but it’s likely the Kirin 8000, which is found on the Enjoy 90 Pro Max. The 6.84-inch OLED panel on the nova 15 Max offers an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The device has a dual-rear camera setup with a 50MP RYYB main camera...Huawei Mate 90 series to boast a fingerprint sensor upgrade
7 May 2026 @ 4:33 pm
A new rumor from China today claims Huawei is finally working on switching its Mate flagship line to ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensors. These are allegedly in testing right now, hopefully everything goes well.
If so, then the ultrasonic sensors would replace the side-mounted fingerprint sensors used in previous Mate generations.
Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max
Yesterday we heard that the Mate 90 Pro Max will come with two telephoto cameras just like its predecessor, but unlike the Mate 80 Pro Max's setup, one of those will be capable of 10x optical zoom, Oppo-style.
Huawei is...Acer Iconia iM11 5G tablet is official with 11.45-inch screen, Dimensity 7050 SoC

The Motorola Razr Fold will launch in India next week
7 May 2026 @ 2:03 pm
A couple of days ago, Motorola confirmed that the Razr Fold will launch in India, but it neglected to set a date. And now we have it – the company’s first book-style foldable will arrive in the country on May 13 (Wednesday).
The Motorola Razr Fold already has a page on Motorola India, which shows two memory options, 12/256GB and 16/512GB, plus three colors to choose from. The first two are Pantone colors, Blackened Blue and Lily White, while the third is the FIFA World Cup 2026 Edition (black base color). There are no prices listed yet, of course.
