Xiaomi 18 Pro appears in new renders with a dedicated AI button
15 April 2026 @ 11:02 pm
The Xiaomi 18 series is not expected to launch for another five months, but rumors about its key specs have been coming in for a while now. The latest additions are a set of renders for the Xiaomi 18 Pro’s back and its all-new AI-button. Based on the image, the 18 Pro will once again feature a triple camera setup and a rear display just like the Xiaomi 17 Pro.
Now, these are early renders and may not reflect the final design, but they are consistent with previous reports which suggest the rear screens are here to stay. The more interesting bit is the dedicated AI button, which will...Huawei Pura X Max will have a stylus that supports AI features
15 April 2026 @ 9:07 pm
Huawei is unveiling the Pura X Max on April 20, and the folding smartphone is now revealed to support a stylus, though it's unclear if it will be bundled or not. Anyway, the company has published two promo videos to highlight the stylus and its functionality, and of course AI is heavily featured since it is 2026 after all.
With the help of AI, the stylus lets you easily virtually dress your pet or add things to photos. You don't even need to know how to draw, just one rough sketch is enough.
The Pura X Max takes the innovative form factor of the original Pura X...You can now buy physical printed books on Spotify
15 April 2026 @ 7:33 pm
Back in February, Spotify announced Page Match, its feature that syncs your reading progress across audiobooks, e-books, and printed books. During that announcement, it also revealed plans to partner up with Bookshop.org and let you buy physical printed books via Spotify.
This has gone live today in the US and the UK. For now, support for purchasing books is only available in Spotify's Android app. It's coming to iOS next week.
Page Match is also expanding to more than 30 additional languages, including French, German, and Swedish. The feature seems to have been quite successful so...IDC: Global smartphone shipments decline by 4% as Samsung leads all makers in Q1
15 April 2026 @ 6:02 pm
The International Data Corporation (IDC) released its preliminary worldwide smartphone shipments report for Q1,2026 and the numbers show declining demand. A total of 289.7 million devices were shipped in the first three months of 2026, representing a 4.1% decline compared to the same period last year.
This turn of events marks the first quarter of negative growth since 2023, largely driven by “acute memory supply constraints” affecting both shipments and demand. IDC analysts also highlighted the rising bill‑of‑materials costs, which have forced certain makers like Samsung to resort to...RedMagic 11s Pro is coming, certification reveals
15 April 2026 @ 4:48 pm
RedMagic launched the 11 Pro back in November, and now it's working on a refresh of that model. According to a new certification by NBTC in Thailand, this will be called RedMagic 11s Pro. It has the model number NX809J.
Interestingly, that's the model number of the China-only RedMagic 11 Pro+, but globally the 11 Pro incorporated that version's specs, so it's unclear what's going on here. We are of course hoping that this is not just a renaming and the 11s Pro will bring something new to the table compared to the 11 Pro.
That said, unfortunately this certification doesn't reveal any...Even more details about the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 leak
15 April 2026 @ 3:39 pm
Qualcomm is expected to unveil two top of the line chipsets this September, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. Today, some more details about the former have been outed in China by the prolific leaker who goes by Digital Chat Station on Weibo.
According to him, the non-Pro Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 (model number SM8950) will be built on a new TSMC 2nm process, and will feature a new Oryon CPU with two Prime cores, three High Performance cores, and three Performance cores.
While DCS doesn't outright say it, the fact that these are new Oryon cores...Motorola Edge 70 Pro to debut on April 22, key specs revealed

Following the launch of the OnePlus Ace 6 and Ace 6T last year, the company will soon launch the ultimate model in the series, which is called the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, of course. Over the last few days, OnePlus execs have been busy teasing the design and features.
This is a sequel to the Ace 5 Ultra from last year. It features the currently popular OnePlus design with the squircle camera island in the top-left corner of the back, a design it shares with the other Ace 6 models.
