by Tyralis Some Encounter cards give a benefit only after two Clue tokens are on them. In those instances, can an Investigator add just one Clue token during their Encounter phase, thereby “banking” the Clue on the Encounter for later use by them or another Investigator? And, if so, is that the extent of their Investigation phase (just putting a Clue token on a card with no encounter read)?That's correct.Also, just confirming: in all these situations where one or more Clue tokens on an Encounter card trigger another effect, the Clue token(s) always remain on the Encounter cards until a game effect says to return them to the supply?generally yes or that card leaves playspoiler questionyour instinct correct here

by bgam Yep, side-by-side for co-op, across for competitive! But with a big caveat that large sprawly games are played wherever we can fit it, and it might be weird seating.Also, Sky Team is the exception that proves the rule, as it's easier to play across, even though it's co-op.

If you're German you might even laugh, because this is the real actual title of the German edition of Magical Athlete.I don't know who came up with that, but someone must have dragged their mother or grandmother in the meeting and asked her to write down a title for this game. It seems, they took the first guess and ran with it. "Flitzpiepe" is a very old fashioned word that you would use to call your child if they had done something stupid, e.g. "little rascal". My mother used to call me that. I was a stupid boy.The other dated thing is the "2000". It‘s a term often used in the past to make something sound more futuristic/better in product names, e.g. „I‘ve got a new vacuum cleaner. It‘s the Dust Destroyer 2000!“ But since the year 2000 the term "3000" is used more often, because 2000 can be misunderstood as the year, I guess.
