Weekly poll results: the Poco X8 Pro Max is a fan favorite, Poco X8 Pro is liked but not loved
26 April 2026 @ 6:08 am
Poco knows its audience – that’s what we get from last week’s poll. For this year’s X series, the company added a new class, the Pro Max, and it completely overshadowed the regular Pro.
Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max at a glance
The Poco X8 Pro Max is going to be a hit – the budding flagship killer got an overwhelmingly positive response in our poll. It got knocked for its camera – people still remember the 108MP shooter on the X5 Pro – and for still featuring a USB 2.0 port. But this applies to the Pro as well. Meanwhile, the Pro Max has a great chipset, huge battery and a huge...OnePlus Pad 4 in for review
26 April 2026 @ 4:03 am
Today, we are taking a look at the new OnePlus Pad 4, the company’s latest premium Android tablet. But first, let’s do a quick unboxing.
The OnePlus Pad 4 packaging is very simple, and comes in the familiar red and white colorway. Inside, the tablet itself takes very little of the vertical room, thanks to its slim 5.94mm profile. Most of the height is taken up by the 80W fast charger, along with the matching cable. There’s not much else in the box.
The OnePlus Pad 4 is a relatively straightforward iterative update over the OnePlus Pad 3. It replaces the Snapdragon 8...Google might be doing away with the Fitbit brand
26 April 2026 @ 2:02 am
There is no doubt that Fitbit still has enormous brand recognition. Whether or not the company’s current offerings are your best option is certainly debatable, but the make carries a lot of weight. Well, who better to potentially start killing it off than Google? The company certainly has a dark track record of mishandling brands and products.
The situation might not be too bad at the moment, though. We are certainly only piecing clues together, and there is no formal announcement yet. Still, people noticed that on the software side of things, in some markets (mostly European), on the...Google Photos AI Enhance is now live for all users
26 April 2026 @ 12:02 am
Google seems to be working hard on expanding its editing options in Google Photos. We recently saw the online titan add a quick facial touch-up feature. Now another similar feature has gone live. It is a very simple and straightforward “AI Enhance” button that sits beside the Enhance and Dynamic buttons that were already present in the Auto tab in the image editor.
We tried it for ourselves, and while it can restore highlights and shadows quite effectively and deal with common issues caused by bad lighting and boost colors slightly, it is nothing truly spectacular in any way....Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro review
25 April 2026 @ 9:59 pm
Introduction and unboxing
Samsung owns Harman, which is the parent company of several high-profile audio brands, many of which make headphones. Yet you will find very few Samsung-branded headphones outside of the Galaxy Buds series. The company hasn’t even released over-ear headphones in years – in short, Samsung is betting that the Galaxy TWS buds are the only headphones that most people need.
We have the new Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro in our ears right now – they are the best of the three-tier structure that Samsung settled on (FE, vanilla and Pro). We think these are a notable...Weekly deals: Galaxy S26 series on discount, Pixel 10 and 10 Pro XL get big price cuts
25 April 2026 @ 8:02 pm
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series has been on discount since it went on sale in early March. And it looks like there’s no stopping the price cuts. Meanwhile, the recently launched Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 are available with free gifts.
Notably, a couple of Pixel phones, the OnePlus 15R, and a few Xiaomi devices have also received price cuts on Amazon UK.
Samsung’s Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra are all available with £170 off, plus users are eligible to save another £100 at checkout.
Samsung Galaxy S26...This Galaxy S26 series feature is coming to some older Samsung smartphones
25 April 2026 @ 5:33 pm
Samsung introduced a feature with the Galaxy S26 series, which is coming to some older Galaxy smartphones eligible for One UI 8.5. We are talking about the improved document scanning feature, called Document Scan.
Previously, when you clicked multiple pictures of documents, they weren't saved as a single PDF document. Samsung made it possible with Document Scan, which is available to Samsung Galaxy S26 users.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
Additionally, Samsung also made it easier to access Document Scan by allowing users to add its shortcut to their phone's homescreen. Just open the...Google Pixel 10a vs Google Pixel 9a

Apple iPhone Ultra/Fold again tipped for autumn 2026 launch, schematic reveals dimensions
25 April 2026 @ 12:33 pm
There were rumors that the launch of the Apple iPhone Fold, also referred to as iPhone Ultra, was delayed. But we later heard that the iPhone Ultra's launch was on track, and it would be unveiled at Apple's autumn 2026 product launch event alongside the iPhone 18 series. That launch timeframe has now been corroborated by reliable tipster Ice Universe, who posted an unofficial photo of an iPhone Ultra and Apple's new CEO John Ternus on X, with the caption "2026 iPhone autumn new product launch."
While Ice Universe hasn't mentioned the launch date, it's safe to assume the launch event will...Infinix GT 50 Pro unboxing
