Weekly poll: will you take a chance on one of the Huawei Pura 70 phones?

28 April 2024 @ 6:03 am

The Huawei Ascend P1 was introduced way back in 2012 and while the ‘Ascend’ was eventually dropped, the P-series remained a staple of the company’s high-end Android offerings. But now it’s entering a new era and is getting a new name – Pura. The Huawei Pura 70 series was introduced this week with four models, though the differences between them are fairly small – except for the Ultra, which has a pretty unique design. Let’s start with it, the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra. The phone is equipped with a 1” 50MP sensor, but Huawei has found a way to reduce camera bump chonkiness with a retractable...

Ultrahuman Ring Air in for review

28 April 2024 @ 3:01 am

Smart rings may be the next big thing in the wearables market and we just received the Ultrahuman Ring Air to see how it stacks up against the established smartwatches and smartbands. This is the lightest smart ring currently on the market ranging between 2-3 grams depending on the size you pick and it’s just 2.4mm thick – a lot less intrusive than a chunky smartwatch. Despite its slender frame, Ring Air promises the standard array of health-tracking features found on smartwatches including continuous heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV) and SpO2 monitoring. You also get detailed...

Weekly poll results: the Motorola Edge 50 series is promising but overpriced

27 April 2024 @ 11:41 pm

Last week’s poll shows that Motorola aimed too high with the pricing of the Edge 50 series. That said, with solid review scores and a good discount, these could become very popular (we have already reviewed the Pro and Ultra models). Starting with the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, nearly half of voters picked the “it costs too much” option. Maybe they would have felt differently if the phone had the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, but the 8s variant is an issue at €1,000. Many in the comments were posting about how you can get more performance at that price point. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro was...

Conflicts in Cancer Data

24 April 2024 @ 8:24 pm

Many of our readers will be aware of the claims of a rise in cancers since the vaccine rollout, particularly among the young. Last week we published an article discussing the scientific rationale why a rise in cancers might be expected after the vaccine rollout. The data published by the UK on this topic is contradictory but data from around the world is signifying there is a genuine problem. The post Conflicts in Cancer Data appeared first on HART.

Covid-19 Response and Excess Deaths

24 April 2024 @ 8:04 pm

On 18th April, Andrew Bridgen finally secured a full length debate on this vexed topic, the original text of which is available here. Full length in theory, but shortly before the debate was due to begin, the deputy Speaker told him he only had 15 minutes instead of the 30 minutes he had prepared. After a complaint to the Speaker’s office the compromise was 20 minutes. The post Covid-19 Response and Excess Deaths appeared first on HART.

Book Review – Will Ellsworth-Jones’ We Will Not Fight (2008)

24 April 2024 @ 10:54 am

Like with so much history that is shrouded by the mists of time, the detailed tales of the thousands of British men who refused to fight in the First World War make for fascinating reading.  These conscientious objectors came from all walks of life – socialists, communists, pacifists, Quakers, Jehovah’s witnesses, Methodists, the Bloomsbury Set – and found a unity of purpose in their protest, allowing them – for a time being at least – to put aside quite substantial ideological differences.   The post Book Review – Will Ellsworth-Jones’ We Will Not Fight (2008) appeared first on HART.

Have people died from ‘long covid’?

23 April 2024 @ 4:59 pm

The deniers of vaccine harm have only two ways of addressing the excess death problem. They either deny that it exists or try to blame it on covid or 'long covid'. HART have previously addressed why covid is not an adequate explanation for the problem because the timing of the non-covid excess has been synchronous in places that had no significant covid until 2022. Cancer concerns

16 April 2024 @ 8:53 pm

The covid vaccines skipped safety testing for cancer risk. Pfizer said genotoxicity, carcinogenicity and biodistribution studies were “not considered necessary.” Even while their trial info sheet said “Due to the urgent need for a vaccine against Covid-19, with agreement from the MHRA, some of the tests usually required for a newly manufactured vaccine have been modified, in order to make the vaccine available more quickly for assessment.” The post Cancer concerns appeared first on HART.

Those who, like the members of HART, have been speaking out for three or four years about the perils of lockdowns, the lack of access to proper medical care and the utter debacle of the unsafe and ineffective vaccines, keep hoping the tide is turning. The Bank of England – Free From Government Control

30 March 2024 @ 12:48 pm

The Bank of England is a private corporation. The evidence demonstrating the fact is all in the public domain, if you care to look. It runs the UK like its own private business. Power in the UK does not reside with the politician's a few of us elect. We are sold a seemingly never ending stream of lies, such as the lie that we do not have a codified written constitution, or the lie that the UK Prime Minister runs the country. Perhaps one of the most egregious is that the Bank of England is a "public corporation" that is wholly "owned" by the government. UK independent journalist, researcher and documentary filmmaker Richard D. Hall faces conviction, sizeable damages and an injunction that could potentially end his career and his livelihood. The High Court of Justice has denied Hall the opportunity to present any kind of meaningful defence. This travesty of justice has potential implication, not just for Richard D. Hall, but for all journalists who dare to question power. Hall was attempting to defend himself against a civil claim for harassment brought against him by two of the reported survivors of the alleged Manchester Arena bombing. The claimants' original claim stated:

Interrogating “Multipolarity”: A Response to “Understanding Power Dynamics”

18 January 2024 @ 8:57 pm

[This piece is a response to an article originally published by UKColumn which challenges my position, which is shared by OffGuardian (and others), on the conflicts in Ukraine and Israel. The UK Column article maintains that “traditional” geopolitics remains a vital topic for the alternate media, and that multipolarity represents a positive alternative to Western Imperialism. Written by Catte Black (from OffGuardian) and myself, this response puts a second case, arguing that what some might call “multipolarity” does NOT represent any real alternative – and that neither “side”, whatever the depth of the objections to each other – have the welfare of ordinary people as their goal.
