Hi there - There is a pigeon nest located in a broken shop front at this location on Cadiz Street. This causes excessive amounts of excrement on the pavement, which is made worse when it rains. The other evening after it had been raining I saw an elderly person (with poor sight or maybe drunk?) slip on it. He somehow managed to avoid falling flat on the pavement. This old shopfront is very unsightly and attracts fly tippers. I'm concerned that it now poses a public health risk that could lead to someone getting sick and/or injury by falling over. There could be legal action taken against the council (if you are responsible for maintaining safe pavements). Please can the shop owner be contacted to repair the shop front and remove the pigeon nest? Many thanks for the consideration.
